March 27 will mark the 25th annual Kidney Kaper which has been held by the Tennessee Kidney Foundation and will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.
Monet and West Carnahan will serve as chairpersons for the 2010 event, which will celebrate the contributions of Dr. Johnson to the field of nephrology and transplantation, along with historical elements of the Tennessee Kidney Foundation. Dr. Keith Johnson, who has made a significant contribution to nephrology and transplantation over the past four decades, will serve as Honorary Chair.
The Kidney Kaper, an optional black-tie dinner dance, is the Tennessee Kidney Foundation’s primary fundraiser. Its proceeds are used to fund programs of Patient services, public and professional education and research. Tickets to the event are $200 per person, and reservations are required. This year’s Hollywood themed Kaper will include a brief program honoring the history of the Tennessee Kidney Foundation and Dr. Keith Johnson, live music, a silent auction and a fun You Should Be In Pictures interactive area. To make reservations for the 2010 Kidney Kaper or for more information about the Tennessee Kidney Foundation, please call (615) 383-3887 |
