Members of winning foursomes will receive great prizes from Liberty Mutual Insurance, Bridgestone Golf, Cobra Puma Golf, Under Armour, Polaroid, Sports Illustrated, GOLF Magazine, Voice Caddie, Blank Label and The Old Course Experience. Best of all, funds raised will support the Tennessee Kidney Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of people affected by kidney disease.
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this nationwide scramble series hosted on June 26, 2017 at The Governors Club in Brentwood, TN featuring two divisions: LMI Championship Division and TKF Division. Teams competing within the LMI Championship Division must consist of four amateur players whose combined USGA Handicap Index totals 43.0 strokes or more; no more than one member of the team may have a USGA handicap index of 8.0 or less. The winning LMI Championship Division team is invited to compete for the national championship March 21-25, 2018 at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Any teams that do not meet the Handicap Index requirements for the LMI Championship Division may register for the TKF Division. TKF Division teams are all eligible for prizes and awards but are not eligible to attend the LMI national championship at Kiawah Island.
How does your participation in this event help TKF?
The Liberty Mutual Invitational is a significant fundraiser each year for Tennessee Kidney Foundation, raising nearly $100,000 to fund programs in Middle Tennessee that provide direct assistance for those at risk or affected by kidney disease. TKF will meet more than 1,500 requests for transportation assistance to dialysis or vascular access treatment this year and hundreds of requests for help meeting basic needs like rent, utilities, food and medication. TKF will screen more than 500 individuals for kidney disease and provide education throughout the Middle Tennessee area about kidney disease, transplant and living kidney donation.
Thank you for helping TKF make a significant impact on the lives of those at risk or affected by kidney disease.
